A global Hedge Fund is hiring a UX Web and Mobile Developer to both participate in user interface design sessions and implement wire frames into prototypes and into final UI products. You will also be expected to be able to build custom components from whiteboard brainstorm sessions, extend existing internal components, or use or extend third party UI components as needed for the functional purpose of the screen.
Requirements
- You should have a strong background in user interface development and the ability to write restful services in Node.js for input data updates.
- Perform hands-on development and coding of application components and restful services.
- Understanding of performance and optimization strategies for web and mobile devices.
- Team work and collaboration will be required for this position.
Technologies:
- JavaScript
- Bootstrap, Kube, Foundation or equivalent experience in a responsive framework
- AngularJS, Ember, Backbone, Knockout or equivalent experience in a javascript framework
- NodeJS
- Signal R
- Mobile Development using Swift or React-Native
- D3.js, HighCharts, amCharts, ZoomCharts or equivalent
- Familiarity with the Mean stack
- Proficient with JSON, BISON and RESTful web services
Qualifications/Degree
- Technical education should include an undergraduate and/or advanced computer science, electrical engineering or other relevant applied science
