Our client, a global Multi Strategy Hedge Fund is hiring a trading Systems/Support Engineer to be responsible for the configuration Management, support and assurance of their proprietary trading applications in multiple production silos. The position will manage and coordinate with development, infrastructure and external vendor teams to provide superior performance and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration management of multiple production silos/Asset classes.
• Trading system uptime, capacity and performance.
• Regression testing functionality and stress testing application servers for capacity and performance.
• Tactical tools development for Traders and Business teams
• Hot issues resolution and escalation..     

Experience:

• Trader and desk support
• Application support and administration
• Trading systems applications, OMS and FIX engines
• Solid experience of Unix/Linux, Networking, Perl, Python, Sybase, SQL, Shell Scripting,  
• Proven problem solving background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Degree in Comp Science, Engineering or Science
