Our client is searching for a passionate and talanted Software Engineer to join their New York team.
Responsibilities:
- This individual will work closely with members of trading desks and technology team to develop best in class multi-asset trading desktop applications.
- This individual is expected to provide technical expertise to support, enhance, and refresh existing and new trading desktop applications.
- The role will utilize C#/.Net, object-oriented analysis, design, and programming to develop robust, flexible software solutions.
- Develop high performance applications utilizing C# language and object oriented design. Responsible for proposing new designs and modifying existing ones to continuously improve performance, functionality, and stability of the system.
- Responsible for guiding and implementing team, firm, and industry architectural standards.
Qualifications:
- Expert level knowledge of C#
- A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design fundamentals.
- A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- C++ Linux server development experience is a plus.
- Financial industry experience is a plus.
- A passion for developing innovative GUIs.
