Our client is a leading investment bank with a position in the algorithmic trading team that develops trading technology for equity and equity option execution as well as routing orders in the US, Canada and South America. The role will involve designing, developing research, testing, support, and monitoring trading performance for strategies running on low latency automated trading platforms. With an objective of improving execution quality in a quickly evolving marketplace, there is a rapid pace of software development and deployment. As a member of the team, you will play an integral role on the trading floor. You will be involved developing routing algorithms, parallel computing architectures, and electronic trading tools for execution.

You will have the opportunity to understand equities market microstructure, exchange service offerings, regulations, and implement changes according to these things on an on-going basis. You will also communicate with traders, sales teams, clients and compliance officers about new feature requests, explanation of existing features etc.
