Our client is is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer for their Chicago location who is a competitive problem solver at heart. This role will join a team of approximately 15 traders and software developers to grow the proprietary trading strategies for futures, FX, and options.
Requirements;
- 10+ years developing software; 5+ should be in .NET/C# on Windows
- Have written and maintained multi-threaded/concurrent software systems
- Ability to work closely with end users to define requirements and debug technical problems
- Smart, detailed problem solving ability in the midst of ambiguity and competing priorities
- Driven to win
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other scientific field
Experience:
- Time series data analysis
- C++ experience
- SQL/relational DB experience
- Socket programming experience
- Experience with performance tuning of low latency software systems
- Experience working with futures and FX markets
