Our client is a high tech trading company with a focus on machine learning and automated market making in futures & equities around the world. The firm specialises in an area of machine learning called deep reinforcement learning and is pioneering new species of trading algorithms with enhanced capabilities. They just received a large private equity injection and are looking to build out their engineering department. We are looking for a senior C++ software engineer with experience developing low latency software for exchange listed products. Ideally from a leading low latency trading liquidity provider. 

Responsibilities

• Design and build the core trading platform.
• Performance tune the system.
• Collaborate with the research team, other developers and hardware specialists.  

Qualifications/Experience

• 7-10+ years of experience writing low latency C++. 
• Expertise tuning Linux Kernel.
• Network programming, multithreading. 
• Optimizing and code tuning. 
• Working at the nanosecond level. 
• Excellent understanding of C++ and X86.
