One of the world’s leading technology driven proprietary trading firms are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join one of the most profitable trading teams in the business to help the group build new trading systems and implement new strategies.
The group trades a range of strategies on EU Equity options markets, both automated and non-automated, under its non-restrictive mandate offering the team the freedom to innovate and show creativity in the strategies and solutions it develops. The lack of a hierarchical structure allows for significant technological autonomy and freedom from executive technology mandates.
The group currently consists of 5 Traders and 3 Software Engineers, all of whom are highly experienced. The individual will be working directly with the Traders to build and support the options trading system which will involve around 80% green field development. This offers the unique experience of seeing your own code in action. Due to the lack of top down tech bureaucracy this is an opportunity for an individual who finds themselves constantly at the forefront of innovation within their current firm.
The team is flexible towards the background of candidates for this position and is open to considering applications from both a finance and non-finance background.
