Our client is searching for an experience Senior C++ Developer to work in their Chicago office. The successful The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding software development environment.

You will be expected to build and maintain robust and high-throughput C++/Linux applications. This resource will be building and maintaining OTC-Derivatives confirmation and clearing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with business to drive and understand requirements
- Analyzing requirements and proposing solutions
- Designing solutions
- Building robust and flexible object-oriented systems
- Unit testing code, and working with business users on UAT
- Deploying systems
- Supporting the production environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
- 5+ years experience using C++
- Concurrent programming
- Strong software design skills
- Proficient using SQL
- Experience working on Linux
- Python and Java knowledge desirable
- Financial industry background desirable
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
