Our client is searching for an experienced Java Developer to join them in their California office. This position is with the Core Data team which is responsible for generating firm-wide risk data and leading cross team initiatives involving Big Data solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience
• Strong Java programming
• Apache Spark/Hadoop technology stack (e.g. Hive, hdfs, Impala, Hbase, other NoSQL databases)
• Comfortable with distributed technology and data processing
• Good understanding of database concepts, data structure, python and finance knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and excel in team environment

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
