Our client is searching for a Python Developer to join their office in California. The position is with the Core Python team within Core Data and Technology group and the role will consist on delivering new projects, supporting existing python infrastructure, and assisting portfolio managers and analysts in their day-to-day python-related activities.

Requirements

• 2 to 10 years of work experience
• Python 2.7, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and familiarity with Windows/Linux environments is a must.
• Python 3.6, SciPy, SciKit, modern data visualization tools experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with any of the popular relational databases (Oracle preferred).
• Working knowledge of object-oriented and functional aspects of Python programming and be familiar with python threading concepts
• Knowledge of Gevent/Tornado/Twisted is a plus.
• Some exposure to web technologies, knowledge of Flask or Django and WSGI stack is a bonus.
• Good communication skills.
