The Role
Our Client is looking for a senior option trader to provide guidance and leadership within the automated market making department. There are 15+ traders on the Equity Index and 15 trading fixed income, currency, and commodity options. Each of the trader is responsible for a specific carve out and managing their own projects. The senior option trader will be involved in gluing everything together from a risk management perspective and also providing guidance and leadership to the team as a whole. They will also be involved in hiring new traders and overseeing departmental responsibilities.
