Our client is seeking a Desktop Trading Application Developer to join a select team to work on next-generation desktop applications. The candidate should have a passion for finance, an eye for aesthetics, and strong sense of good software design.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a team environment that integrates trading, risk management and technology
- Design and implement intuitive and advanced UI interfaces and applications for trading, execution and risk management
- Develop and own key feature sets of the platform using industry proven design patterns and methods
- Facilitate testing and deployment of new features across multiple trading desks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Trading industry experience strongly preferred, multi-threading experience required
- 2-4+ years of application development experience
- 2-4+ years of experience building .NET WinForms, multi-threaded applications
- Strong understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
