Our client is searching for an experienced Developer to work in their New York office. The ideal candidate will work closely with members of the legal and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver new components in support of the firm wide legal and compliance infrastructure wile also maintaining existing reporting and compliance workflows.
- Design and manage the deployment of new infrastructure components pertaining to a global cross asset legal and compliance platform which includes both end of day reporting and intra-day real time trading activities.
- Select underlying technologies, patterns and frameworks
- Maintain service level agreements with downstream dependencies across the organization.
- Enhance and extend the risk computation analytics libraries and processes utilized in portfolio construction
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and peer technology teams
- Provide application support to the global legal and compliance teams as well as front office trading organizations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Solid experience in Python, SQL/Sybase, scripting required. MSSQL experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design fundamentals
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle steps
- Experience with C++ on Linux and/or Windows is a plus
- Knowledge of financial products, valuation methods, and regulatory reporting preferred.
