Our client is searching for a world class Java Developer to work in their New York office.
Responsibilities:
- Development and support of Market Data Service. Market Data Service is targeted to be the authoritative source of market data firm wide. It will provide intraday and end of day market data for risk and PnL calculation.
- Development and support of Security Valuation Service. Security Valuation Service manages inputs of security risk calculation, calls analytic service to calculate security risk, post process the calculation results for applications firm wide. It is target to be the gateway of applications to analytic service.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experiences in financial services technology.
- Strong Java programming skill must. Other computer languages such as Python and C#, a plus.
- Experiences in market data (Bloomberg) a big plus.
- Basic knowledge of financial instruments such as bond, treasury bill, a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written.
- Desire to contribute and make things differently.
