Our client is seeking a world class Java Developer to join a small team that builds strategic and tactical technology solutions that advance the ability to trade effectively, take advantage of market opportunities and manage portfolios. The successful candidate will work closely with traders, portfolio managers and others to identify, test out, and implement ideas where automatic trading techniques can improve the performance
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-year experience working on trading software, using the FIX protocol.
- Fixed income knowledge a must.
- BSc Computer Science or Engineering, with focus on architecture design, is preferred.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:
- Unix and Java (v8, Spring) are must.
- Database SQL (relational) is a must.
- Knowledge of In-Memory Database (Oracle, x10, Mongo) is a plus.
- FIX architecture design-from-inception a big plus.
- DROOLS is a plus.
- Python experience is a plus.
