Our client is searching for a Head of Analytics coverage to work in the New York office. You will be work in a team environment that closely integrates trading, quantitative research and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Work in close collaboration with quantitative staff and traders to a create a layer of MIS data and analytics that provides the necessary visibility into the execution process
- Support the trading desk, QR team and senior management with ongoing needs and request for new data and analytics
- Drive the visualization efforts of these set of analytics to maximize the understanding of complex interactions and executions flows.
- Managing a small but highly effective and integrated team to deliver excess value to the execution/trading effort
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in financial markets with focus on data, analytics and MIS
- Solid quantitative/analytics skills ability to understand an integrate complex analytics/models
- Expertise in R/Python
- Excellent communication skills (needs to be able to work with QR and Trading and senior management )
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment (able to make trade-offs and do work that priorities incremental deliverables)
- High degree of motivation and strong work ethic
