Our client is seeking an experienced FX trader with a principal market making background for the Chicago location. This individual will be working directly with the trading, data analysis, sales, and development teams to improve market making strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing market making models
- Helping define processes to provide accurate pricing to multiple venues with different order flows
- Managing the risk of positions generated throughout the day
- Working with overnight traders to ensure success of the models
- Analyzing the performance of the trading system and client order flows
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in any analytical/quantitative field of study
- Extensive experience with analyzing large data sets and producing meaningful results
- Has a proven track record as part of a successful FX market making team
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast paced environment
- Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Willingness to be a team player/leader before, during and after trading hours
- Experience with Python, Matlab, R, or similar technical computing language preferred
