Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their New York office. You must have experience at a trading desk and experience with ETF would be strongly preferred.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Expert level programming proficiency in C/C++, C# ,GCC 5+, Linux, Python, C++14
- Ability to design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming
- Knowledge in AI/Machine learning algorithms and Python
- Programming experience building high-performance/low-latency trading components and/or working with equity derivatives
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm to learn about end to end trading systems and markets
- Willingness to take ownership of work, working both independently and within a small team
- Experience and broad knowledge with performance tradeoffs for common hardware and technology decisions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to have:
- POSIX, STL, Sockets, Multiplexing, Pthreads, GNU Make, Profiling, Continuous Integration, Subversion
- Prior Financial Programming
- Knowledge of the Securities/Derivatives Industry
