Our client is one of the world's leading financial institutions, tackling some of the industry's
toughest problems using bleeding edge technology and highly intelligent trading
strategies. They are currently looking for a front office software developer to
join their quantitative trading team, working closely with quants and traders
to develop core trading applications and platforms. You will be tasked with
analysing complex technical problems making proactive decisions in the process
of developing high performance systems utilising C++.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain real-time trading applications, including building
new apps and enhancing existing ones to cut down trading workflows to achieve
optimal throughput
- Manage daily responsibilities which include:
- Working on strategic applications
- Handle any tactical fixes
- Interact with users to gather new ideas and feedback on existing apps
- Strategize and outline areas of improvements
- Provide support to users during trading hours
- Have responsibility for all phases of the technology enablement life
cycle
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with C++ and Python on a Linux platform
- Willingness to learn new tech to work on project as needed.
- Experience in working with Traders/Quants preferred.
