Our client is a global proprietary trading company with offices in the USA, Asia and Europe. They are looking to hire additional headcount for a C++ Software Engineers to build, maintain and develop front-office systems. You will be designing, building and optimizing electronic trading platforms.  Engineers will work closely with researchers and traders to perform various functions, including the development of their core-trading infrastructure & designing low-latency trading systems.

Engineers will gain exposure to quantitative & algorithmic trading whilst working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work on projects from inception through to deployment, and are expected to take real ownership of the systems you would be building.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop of high-performance C++ components used by trading applications. 
  • Developing enhancements to assist Quantitative researchers.
  • Work as part of an established, experienced development team to build best in class technology platforms integrated with real time trading paradigms.
  • Be able to identify problems quickly and turn around solutions in a timely manner.


Skills required:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related Computer Engineering or Science, MS Degree preferred. 
  • Strong programming skills in C++ development experience on a UNIX platform.
  • Professional experience with multi-threaded and or low latency applications design and development.   
  • Experience building trading applications. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
