Our client is searching for a Software Engineer to join a team charged with building a trading platform to enable the operations of the largest US retail market maker. This individual will leverage their technical skills to design and develop components involved with order handling, trade reporting, system surveillance, post trade analysis and trading desk tools.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development and deployment of new and existing infrastructure components pertaining to the handling, execution and reporting of orders.
- Responsible for proposing new designs and modifying existing ones to continuously improve stability, flexibility and functionality of the overall system.
- Collaborate with individuals across development, support, infrastructure and trade desk teams.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in C++ in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Experience with FIX and other financial protocols a plus.
- Python or other scripting experience a plus.
- Knowledge of financial products and trading platforms is a plus.
