Our client is searching for a Linux Developer to work in their Chicago office. The developer will join the Accounting Development Team, building systems that generate daily front-office PnL results, supply data for each fund's monthly and year-end financial statements, meet regulatory and tax reporting needs, and provide support for reconciliation and control.
Requirements:
- Medium to deep knowledge (min 3-5 years professional experience) of both C++ and SQL / relational databases, preferably on the Linux platform.
- C++ experience should include deep knowledge of data structures, object-oriented design, STL.
- Experience with multithreading and C++11/C++14 features are desirable.
- In addition, knowledge of Perl and/or Python are desired, and C# /.NET skills will be advantageous.
- Previous experience with Sybase IQ, Sybase ASE, and/or Microsoft SQL Server will be helpful.
