The most respected market making company in the US is hiring an experienced C# GUI Developer to be part of a new team based in New York
Responsibilities:
- Be a Front Office Software Developer in the Securities Market Making team and work closely with members of Front Office Quantitative Research as well as traders.
- Develop high performance applications utilizing C# language and object oriented design.
- Work on a small, fast moving team.
- Work with all new technologies, and not be saddled with legacy tech.
- Help build a new business that is revolutionizing Fixed Income markets.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with business users and peer technology teams.
Preferred Background / Qualifications:
- Experience designing and building UI frameworks.
- Experience with Fixed Income instruments and markets.
- Experience developing WinForms applications.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle paradigms including testing and deployment phases.
- Experience building trading applications.
- A passion for developing innovative GUIs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills applicable to a dynamic trading environment.
Technologies:
- C#, .Net
- JavaScript and related frameworks like Angular, TypeScript, Electron, Node.js, Backbone
- Scripting languages Python, Perl, Shell Scripting.
Education:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related Computer Engineering or Science curriculum.
- MS Degree preferred.
