Large leading quant fund is looking for a highly skilled and experienced developer with an analytical mind-set and high attention to detail, to be involved in all stages of development and implementation of next generation software. 

As a developer at our firm you are required to learn and understand the theories behind the current trading system. You will be involved in design, architecture and implementation of new software and will be required to take ownership of the system throughout design to implementation. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• High level of expertise in a C++ and experience in scripting languages, preferably Python
• High level of expertise in systems programming on Linux
• High level of curiosity to understand the whole of the system and willingness to contribute to any part of it as needed
• Ability to understand sophisticated mathematical and financial concepts.
• Ability to take responsibility and work independently in a high-pressure, time-critical environment.
• Knowledge of European equity exchange protocols and behaviour is very desirable
• Three or more years of experience as a developer
