Our client is searching for a C# Developer to work in their New York office. The successful candidate will be helping to develop software to use for algorithmic trading, risk and position management.
Responsibilities:
- Building applications for electronic market making
- Building backend applications in C#.
- Some applications and trading infrastructure are getting translated into C++/Linux.
- Optimizing applications for speed and efficiency
- Building components optimized for speed, reusability and performance.
- Developing backend server side programs to process and display, hundreds of thousands of orders.
Requirements:
- Some knowledge of finance and exchange traded products such as futures, ETF’s, equities options
- Server Side C#
- Server side C++
- GUI development
- Ability to develop high performance, memory efficient and reusable code
- The ability to work on a busy trading floor
- Good communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
