As a part of a global development team, build and maintain robust and high-throughput C++/Linux applications. This resource will be building and maintaining OTC-Derivatives confirmation and clearing systems. 

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding software development environment. This person will be intellectually curious, intuitive, rigorous, trustworthy and have the highest ethical standards.  In addition, (s)he will be affective addressing a number of internal and external audiences in a professional manner.  This person will add value by working on a number of simultaneous projects with minimal supervision and exemplary follow-through.

General Job Responsibilities: 

• Working directly with business to drive and understand requirements 
• Analyzing requirements and proposing solutions 
• Designing solutions 
• Building robust and flexible object-oriented systems 
• Unit testing code, and working with business users on UAT 
• Deploying systems 
• Supporting the production environment 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
• 5+ years experience using C++
• Concurrent programming
• Strong software design skills
• Proficient using SQL
• Experience working on Linux
• Python and Java knowledge desirable
• Financial industry background desirable

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
