Our client is looking for people with strong C++ experience to join their new and dynamic team that will be responsible for building and maintaining trading platforms used by the company across asset classes. You will be responsible for
continuously improving the performance, stability and functionality of the systems as well as proposing new design ideas.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing high performance applications using C++
- Providing support for trading activities in a timely manner
- Troubleshooting any issues and getting applications working quickly
- Building technology platforms with integrated real time trading
platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in C++
development on a UNIX platform.
- Experience with multithreaded
applications.
- Experience with key language(s)
such as Python, R, Perl, Shell Scripting, LUA, etc.
- Professional experience with
distributed systems.
- Professional experience with
multi-threaded application design and development.
- Ability to analyze and solve
complex business and technical problems with robust, resilient and flexible
technical solutions.
- Professional experience
developing financial software is a plus.
- Knowledge of order/state
management paradigms.
- Strong critical reasoning skills.
