If you’re a Talented Software Engineer / Developer with expertise in C++, who has Exceptional Academics, a Passion for Coding and a love of Problem Solving then this is an opportunity you must NOT miss!! A Hedge Fund with offices in New York & Chicago have exciting opportunities across multiple project teams, and are looking to hire Software Engineers of all levels.  Whilst strong academics and a proficiency in C++ are essential, industry experience is not.  If you are coming from Finance, Telecoms or Tech and have the required skill set, then you will be of strong interest.  

Skills: 

• In addition to C++, exposure to Algorithms, Low Latency, Multi-Threading, Machine Learning, Order Entry, Market Data, Data Science or Systematic / Automated systems would also be of strong interest.

Musts / Nice to Haves:

• You must be driven, curious, inquisitive and entrepreneurial as well as possess the ability to work autonomously and thrive under pressure in a demanding but highly rewarding environment.  You must be commercially aware and have the acumen to communicate at a business level.  Ideally, you will also be someone who exceeds expectation and who, when outside of the office, still looks to better themselves, via extra-curricular activities, such as; ROBOCUP’s, Olympiad’s, Sport, Personal Ventures etc  

Education: 

• A BS degree from a Tier 1 University in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related Computer Engineering or Science curriculum, with strong GPA’s is essential.
