Our client is searching for a C++ Developer to work in their Chicago office. The ideal candidate will be expected to aid in production issue triage and identify the right solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and optimize robust low-latency trading algorithms
- Work directly with traders and trading team managers to identify software bugs and implement solutions
- Work with teams to estimate and track development time
Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-4 years of directly related work experience within a trading firm
- Expert C++ programming skills
- Proficiency in C# is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise with both Windows and Linux platforms
- Expert ability to translate trading strategy ideas into production
- Fundamental knowledge of data structures and containers
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate ideas to colleagues within all departments / levels of the firm
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
