A leading global asset management firm is looking for an AI engineer to join a small team that builds tactical and strategic technology solutions that advance our ability to manage portfolios, trade effectively and take advantage of market opportunities. You will work closely with traders, portfolio managers and others to identify, test out, and implement ideas where AI techniques can improve our performance. While other members of your team are savvy in matters of markets and Computer Science, you will be the AI evangelist in the group.

Requirements:

• MS Computer Science or Engineering with focus on AI from a school with a well-regarded AI program.
• Some practical working experiences involving AI, in any industry, a plus.
• High level stats, probability & linear algebra a must.
• Finance basics a plus but not required; markets, esp. Fixed Income and Derivatives a strong plus.

Technology Knowledge

• Python & SQL are must.
• Proficiency in AI techniques: Expert Systems, Genetic Algos, Reinforcement.
• Java (Spring, Hibernate) a plus.
• R, SAS, big data technology a plus
